Founder, Sonya Maley is passionate about rural communities having lived in sugarcane towns for the last 20 years. Being a registered nurse with a young family she knows a bit about health and nutrition as well.

In 2005, Sonya established Resis Australia Pty Ltd as the leading company to develop and commercialise new products which harness the natural bio-active elements present in sugar cane. With support from her husband Paul they found they weren’t the only ones interested in creating new opportunities for sugarcane growing communities.

What started as an idea that seem to make good sense developed into a remarkable five year journey working with some of Australia’s top science and research agencies like CSIRO, James Cook University and the QLD State Government Innovative Food Technologies Unit all focused on helping achieve the vision.

In 2007 Sonya was awarded the Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation’s, Queensland Rural Woman of the Year .

A new versatile range of food grade cane juice products is now available with a pack size to suit everyone whether you a householder, restaurateur or serious manufacturer.

Produced on Queensland Sunshine Coast the juice is made from sugar cane supplied by local farming families.
